Local colleges make pitch for low-interest recovery loans (New Orleans Times-Picayune)

WASHINGTON -- With final negotiations under way on legislation to establish federal higher education policy for the next five years, New Orleans area college administrators are pushing for inclusion of a House-passed measure that would make their schools eligible for low-interest loans for hurricane-related issues.
